Weekend Travel: Portland Style

After a recent trip to Portland (one of my favorite places in the world), I decided that I way overpacked. A quick trip doesn't need to be complicated- and really, you can make several outfits out of just a few simple pieces. I found that even though I packed my printed neon shorts (perhaps a little too Florida), new maxi dress, and bright green bag (all recent purchases I was very excited about), I mostly stuck to a uniform of basic dresses, birkenstocks, and layered pieces at night. Also, despite packing two pairs of heels (I thought this was reasonable), I only wore my nike sneakers, slip ons, and birkenstocks throughout my stay.
