I recently took a road trip from Los Angeles (my home) to Portland, Oregon with my sister and had an amazing time. I can't say I ever got super dressed up (except for tea at the Rotunda, pictured above). My wardrobe mostly consisted of leggings, t-shirts, sweatshirts and the occasional pair of jeans but comfort is KEY when you're driving through the middle of nowhere for hours on end.

I have a fleece lined one for cooler weather, a lightweight one for warm weather and a jacket in just about every shade of indigo there is.
